1785, 22 September. Robert Dickey sold land.  ("The Quarterly, York County 

Carolina." York County Genealogical and Historical Society, March 1992)



Robert Dickey of Chester Co., SC to John McNabb of York co., Sept. 22, 1785, 

150 acres in York co. On Beaver Dam Fork of Bullocks Creek, joining land 

formerly possessed by William Davies and now owned by David Porter, being 

patent granted by NC to William Davies, May 4, 1769, sold by Davies to Robert 

Dickey, Oct. 2, 1771. Witnesses: David Dickey, William Wallace, Robert 

Kennedy. (York County Deed Book A, p.32-34)
