Beginning at a Hickory on the Indian line and runs N60. W four chains to a black oak thence N 68. W. twenty eight chains and five links to a black oak thence S.79. W. Eleven chains and 5 links to a Hickory thence N. 15 1/2 W. Sixty one chains to a stake thence S. 41 East Eighty eight chains to the beginning containing one hundred 7 five acres bounded East by the Indian Land South by lands of Richard Sadler and Robert McCaw and West by John Barrys land. Together with all and singular the rights members hereditaments and appurtenances to the said premises belonging or in any wise Incedent or appertaining to have and to hold all and singular the premises before mentioned unto the said Samuel Lowery his heirs and assigns for ever and we do hereby bind ourselves our heirs executors and administrators to warrant and for ever defend all and singular the said premises unto the said Samuel Lowery his heirs and assigns against our selves and our heirs or any other person or persons lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof and against all claims whatsoever. Witness our hands and seals this twenty third day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty four and in the forty ninth year of the Independence of the United State of America.
