I John KIDD, Sr. of York District being of sound and disposing mind and memory but weak n bady and calling to mind the uncertainty of life and being desirous to dispose of all such worldly estate as it hath pleased God to Bless me with do make and ordain this my last Will in the manner following that is to say; I do bequeath to my beloved wife ELIZABETH one bed and furniture, one cow and pot. And I likewise bequeath to my son JAMES his maintainance of the plantation, also one bed and covering and one cow and this to be at his dispose at his death. And I also bequeath to my daughter JANE an equal portion with my son James also to be disposed of in a similar manner at her death, And I also bequeath to my daughter MARY PORTER one dollar, And I also leave to my daughter MARTHA KIDD one dollar, And I also bequeath to my son ANDREW KIDD one dollar, And also bequeath to my daughters in law EDITH KIDD and ESTHER KIDD an equal portion of the kitchen furniture, And I also bequeath to my son JOHN KIDD one dollar, And I bequeath to my sons WILLIAM and ROBERT the plantation on which I live to be equally divided given them at the death of their Mother either by public sale or as they may agree, all the rest of my estate both real or personal not herein particularly mentioned to be divided amongst my children and give the same to them their heirs executors, administrators, and assignors(?) forever, And lastly I do constitute and appoint John M. Knight and (William?) Guy executors of this my last Will and Testament by me heretofore made.
