Will of Thomas THOMPSON, of York County, South Carolina...

"IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN, I Thomas Thompson of york County and state of South 
Carolina being of perfect mind and memory through the mercy of god do make 
this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form Following first I bequeath 
my Soul into the hands of a mercifull Redemer and my body to be Buried at the 
descreation of my Executors hereafter Named and as touching Those Worldy goods 
wherewith the Lord has been pleased to Bless me with First I Bequeath this 
Tract of Land that I now Live on the thomas and John Thompson my sons and I 
bequeath To my Son John one Bed with all the forniture Belonging to it and 
Likewise a Black mear, and I Bequeath to my Daughter Phanney a negro girl 
Named Cate and a Bead with all Belonging to it and a Cow and Calf, and I will 
that my Fower Negros and all the Movables Estate not heretofore mentioned be 
sold and Equally Divided Between my Six Daughters Sarah Wright Mary Tatum Anna 
Wright Elizebath Reeves Rhody Perhem and Rebecah Reeves, and Lastely I 
Constitute and appointe Duncan Sinclair and William Wright my Executors to 
this my Last Will and Testament in Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand 
and Seal this Ninth Day of August one thousand seven hundred and Ninty three
