Wessington Springs Herald, Dec. 12, 1884
"Married.- At the residence of the bride twelve miles north of town on the
evening of Nov. 21st, Mr. Conway Thomson to Mrs. Retta M. Campbell, Wm. Jacka
officiating. The bride is one of Dakota's most energetic lady land owners while
the groom will be remembered as among Plankinton's first business men. May
happiness attend the worthy couple whom fate has so fitly joined together." -
Plankinton Standard. 

The contracting parties are well known to most of our citizens, Mr. Thomson
living about 4 miles northwest of the Springs. Their friemds in this vicinity
extend congratulations.
