Lizziam Archambeau, Canadian born but of English ancestry, arrived at Ft. Randall
1859 and engaged in the wood business for some years. His wife is a mixed blood,
formerly Adaline Vasser. He lived opposite Mulehead on what is now the Oldham 
place in Signal township from 1862 to 1867 when he sold out to his brother Louis
Archambeau and moved to what is now known as the Frank Van place in Pease
valley, and later to his present home southeast of Geddes.
