Randall as a soldier and was discharged in 1866. Since then his home has been in this county. After his discharge he carried mail for a while. He lived on Papineau bottom and Pease island awhile, settling there in 1869 after Pease left. His wife was a Yankton Sioux, on whose allotment he now resides, between Geddes and Lake Andes.
