Edwin Tucker arrived in 1879 and filed on his land in August. For a couple 
of years prior to that time he had  worked for the Oldham brothers on
Pocahontas island and elsewhere in the vicinity. Mr. Tucker has remained on
the same farm ever since establishing his residence there.
