BARROW was born in Schuylkill county, Pennsylvania, and received his education in the public schools and the high school after which he attended an academy,. graduating therefrom. He went to Redwing, Minnesota, and read law, being in due time admitted to the bar. He began practice at Minneapolis, but soon afterwards located at Ipswich, South Dakota, where he has since been engaged, meeting with distinct and gratifying success. He has been honored by election to the state legislature and has served as state’s attorney several terms. Fraternally he belongs to the Masons, Odd Fellows, Maccabees and United Workmen. Mr. Barrow was married to Effie L. Hawkins, and they have two children.
