Cemetery History The following is found recorded in Book U - page 166, register of deeds office, Tyndall, So. Dak. June 28, 1898 Cornelius Ewert and Maria Ewert Husband and Wife in consideration of one dollar sold and conveyed to Isaac B. Schmidt, Tobias Schultz and David A. Schultz Trustees of the Friedensberg Geminde, Bon Homme Co. So. Dak. Forever the following described realestate lying and being in BonHomme Co. So. Dak. To wit: Commencing at a point 14 R. North from the S. W. corner of the S. W. ¼ of the S. W. ¼ of Sec. 4 - T93N - R61W running N. along section line 13 R. - Thence E. 28 R. - Thence So. 13R. Thence W. 28R. to place of beginning containing 2A. and 44R. - A former Deed dated May 23, 1898 is hereby declared null and void, and this Deed is given to rectify certain errors as to the property herein described. The property to remain the property of the Friedensberg Geminde forever, instead of reverting to grantors in case it ceases to be used for burial and church purposes as stated in the former Deed.
