                   Waverly

	Rev. W. S. Taylor, a Superannuate of West Wisconsin Conference, having taken
up land in the vicinity of Waverly, and being desirous of labor in the Lord's
vineyard, set about organizing a church here. This was accomplished, and 15 persons
were enrolled. He remained pastor until in April, 1886, and during the time 
succeeded in having a church building worth $2000 erected. An out appointment of
this charge was organized by Rev. Hosea Locke, and was afterwards under the 
pastoral care of Rev. A. D. Traveller, Rev. W. R. Adams, in connection with 
Watertown, but was annexed to Waverly during the pastoral term of Rev. D. W. Dribble.
Rev. C. B. Gilbert is the pastor. There are 19 members and 8 probationers.
