Levi Brown and his wife was celebrated at their home in Rome, on the evening of the 12th in an enjoyable manner. The wedded pair were pledged anew to their obligations by Re. H.T. Carl, after which Mr. E.L. Rugg on behalf of their friends presented them with a handsome goldband China set. An amusing feature of the occasion was the wedding certificate which the ingenuity of Mr. Boulton of Mitchell, drew on a large square piece of building paper, framed in lath, and suspended by a bit of rope halter. A life-like sketch of Mr. and Mrs. Brown ornamented the center of it. There were over fifty guest present, and it was one of Rome's genuine good times.
