The parlors of the New Pacific hotel were the scene of a romantic wedding ceremony Tuesday evening, Rev. S.J. Winegar being the officiating clergyman. The train from the north brought down a bright Dakota damsel who took the bus to the above-named hotel and there meeting a lady friend, awaited the arrival of the delayed train from the east. When it came it brought an energetic and good looking young man, who made his way direct to the same hotel, where Mr. Winegar soon made them man and wife, in the presence of one or two specially invited witnesses. The groom was Dr. Edward Johnson, a druggist of Fullerton, Nebraska, and a respected citizen there; the bride was Miss Fannie Combes, of Andover, Day county, Dakota, and a young lady of evident intelligence and breeding. Mr. and Mrs. Johnson will leave for Nebraska to-day. This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/sdfiles/ File size: 1.4 Kb
