H. Ellis ANDREW SIME was born July 5, 1860, in Norway, and came to the United States in 1882. Came to Dakota and settled in Moody county, and in 1885 took a homestead in Faulk county and the following years made his permanent residence here. In 1886 he married Miss Bertha Wonge, who was born in Norway in 1858. To them have been born six children, viz: Arthur, Annie, Ed, Belle, George and Clie. Mr. Sime has 640 acres of land, 300 acres under cultivation, the remainder in a fenced pasture. A new house was built last year at a cost of $3000.00, his barn built four years ago at a cost of $1000.00 and all necessary outbuildings for a first class farm home. He is within easy distance of Millard on the Chicago, Milwaukee .& St. Paul Railway, Wecota on the Minneapolis & St. Louis Railway, and Faulkton on both the Chicago & North-Western and the Chicago, Milwaukee & St. Paul Railways. All of this property has been acquired since coming to Faulk county and together with his twenty head of horses, fifty head of neat stock and twenty head of hogs, could not be bought for less than $25,000.00. Mr. Sime is surrounded by a number of Scandinavian neighbors and is one mile from an English school, and has not only a good desirable home but surroundings where he can enjoy a happy life.
