NOTICE OF HEARING FOR LETTERS OF ADMINISTRATION
State of South Dakota, County of Gregory, ss. in County Court
In the matter of the Estate of Edward A. Herman, deceased, the State of South 
Dakota sends greetings to Elmer Herman, Lester Herman, and Harvey Herman, heirs 
at law and next of kin of Edward A. Herman, deceased and to all whom these 
presents may come:

Notice is hereby given that Lester Herman has filed in this court a petition 
praying for the issuance of Letters of Administration upon the Estate of Edward 
A. Herman, deceased, and that Saturday the 5th day of February 1927 at ten 
o'clock in the forenoon at the office of the Judge of the County Court in the 
City of Burke, Gregory County South Dakota, has and is hereby fixed and 
appointed as the time and place when and where said petition will be heard, and 
any persons interested may appear and show cause, if any there may be, why said 
petition should not be granted.

Dated at Burke, South Dakota this 18th day of January 1927

This was printed on the back of an undated obituary clipping for Frank Hughes. 
Hughes died January 16, 1927 in Burke SD. The publication date would have been 
the following week.
