W. Ry., and 60 miles southwest of Bowman, N. D., on the C. M. & St. P. Ry., which, at present, are the nearest railroad points. Three miles from the Sioux National Forest; in the center of a very rich farming country; has plenty of pure water, an excellent climate, and an inexhaustible supply of the finest gravel for concrete blocks. Principal industries: Stock raising, wool growing and farming. Land nearby open for homestead entry, and the country is rapidly filling up with a progressive class of people. The town is incorporated, has a good bank, newspaper, church and school priviledges, and good, substantial business firms. A flouring mill, etc. Population 300. Altitude about 4,000 feet.
