Wessington Springs Herald August 12, 1887
Mrs. Nettie C. Hall is off on a  lecturing to the Northern Pacific country. She
delivered a series of lectures recently at all the larger points between here
and the Sioux river. The Woonsocket Times, commenting on her lecture upon
hygienic at that place concludes as follows: "More of such plain talkers, and
less of whippers around the stump, is what the platform needs for usefulness."
