Wessington Springs Herald July 27, 1888
    A trip to the east end of Jerauld the 11th and 12th inst., took us by the
farms of Messrs Deline and Pratt to the county seat. Leaving the Springs, we saw
Mr. Blowers busy mowing his front yard. He has a fine field of oats. Mr.
Thomas's tree claim and pasture caught our eye. They show the push and
management of the owner. The farms of Mrs. Dr. Hall and S H Albert led us to
exclaim, "Is this Dakota!" especially the latter's buidings, fences and crops.
