Wessington Springs Herald December 11, 1885
    There will be held in the M. E. church at this place on Christmas eve., Dec.
24, Christmas exercises, consisting of a literary programme and distribution of
presents.

    The following committees were appointed:

    On general supervision - Rev. Trewartha, T. Linus Blank, E. H. Ford, W. J.
Williams, W. F. Harris and Mrs. E. V. Miles. The above committee will hold its
first meeting at T. Linus Blank's residence on Monday evening, Dec. 14.

    Committee on music - Mrs. Harris.

    Committee on programme - Rev. Trewartha, Mrs. L. H. Blank and Mrs. C. M.
Spears.

    Committee on decorations - Mrs. Hall, Mrs. Lillie Bateman, Mrs. B. G.
Cummings, T. Linus Blank, A. LaPoint, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace.

    Soliciting committee - Misses Jessie Blowers, Lizzie Pratt, Sallie Miles,
Maud Tofflemire.

    Instructions if needed will come from the committee on general supervision.
