C. T. U. I have taken my clothes off to sleep but once in twenty-four days. As long as this dark shadow hovers over my home, it will be impossible for me to aid in convention in any way whatever. I leave it to the Executive Committee to take such action as shall best further the interests of the cause. Unions observe Oct. 17 as temperance Sabbath, asking the ministers to preach upon the subject.
