Wessington Springs Herald
We are told that  Mr. Cooley will soon start a paper in the new town of Scott
about two and one-half miles from Waterbury, Town 107-67. It looks now as if
there would be three or four newspapers published in the new county by the time it
shall be organized; such being the case of course the first building the new
county will have to put up will be a poor house.
