Wessington Springs Herald
Mr. D. A. Scott, one of the proprietors of the townsite, arrived last week and
will probably stay here until the town gets a fair start. He is making active
preparations for the erection of a large hotel, as soon as the lumber can be
procured. This is a much needed institution as the houses of the settlers in the
vicinity are crowded to overflowing every night.
