Wessington Springs Herald
Jerry Donahue, a breakman on the L. & D. division od the C. M. & St. P., was
killed at Mitchell Saturday evening. He was seen walking on top of a moving
train, and a few moments later was found lying about eight feet from the track,
his back broken in two places. No other marks of violence were visible upon his
person, and just how he met his death no one knows. This is the second death
occuring in the Mitchell yard during the past three weeks.
