Wessington Springs Herald
    A nine year old boy of Mr. Lawton, west of town, died on Tuesday last of
diphtheretic erysipelas. Four more of the family are dangerously sick with the
same disease. The father, oldest son and daughter were away from home and the
mother had no one to send for help until the boy was dying, It is to be hoped
that the neighbors of the afflicted family will do all in their power to assist
them in their hour of need. LATER; - Another child died Wednesday morning.
