Wessington Springs Herald
    The Spring Valley Band of Hope are under the direction of Henry Stephens and
John Kughler in military drill, preparing for a demonstration for the 4th. The
first steps of the drill were given to twenty-two last Sabbath, since which four
new recruits have been added, ages ranging from six to twenty-four years and
includes both sexes. All young people interested invited to participate. The
only basis of membership-signing a pledge against intoxicants.

    Time of meeting, every Sabbath at 4 p. m., at the Spring Valley school house.
