Wessington Springs Herald October 28, 1887
The Weekly Pioneer of Orient, Dak. contains the following:

    Mrs. Hall, of Jerauld county, spoke to a full house at this place last
Wednesday night and her address was stated by all who heard it as being one of
the finest lectures, if not the best, ever delivered in this section.

    As Mrs. Woolbridge, Mrs. Balch, and other noted temperance speakers had
preceded Mrs. Hall, we can see the forces of the commitment.
