Wessington Springs Herald June 3, 1887
John Weems started to Minneapolis last Wednesday. Mrs. Hall accompanied him to
the train at Alpena. She has been a mother to him since he was a babe a few days
old, and will miss him sadly. Johnny expects to work in the machine shops, and
we join his many friends here in wishing him success in his new venture.
