Wessington Springs Herald April 27, 1888
Died - At the residence of her son, Myron L. Alverson, Mrs. Sophia Almira
Alverson, on April 22nd 1888. She was born in Guilford, Windham county Vermont,
October 22nd 1809. Joined the M. E. church when about 40 years of age, and was a
member of that church at her death. Rev. Vessey conducted the funeral services,
and the body was laid to rest in the Wessington Springs cemetery.
