Wessington Springs Herald, Sept. 11, 1885
MARRIED.-At the residence of the bride's parents in Wessington Springs on Monday
evening Sept. 7th by Rev. W. H. Jordan, Mr. Benjamin F. Gay of Lincoln,
Nebraska, to Miss Luella Miles of Wessington Springs.

    The marriage of the happy couple occurred on the same evening as the 20th
anniversary of the wedding of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. V. Miles.
Invitations were consequently issued for the China wedding of the latter named
couple at the same time the marriage ceremony of the former was performed. Want
of space prevents the publication of the list of presents to each couple by
their numerous firends, but in spite of the inclemency of the weather quite a
number were present. The HERALD extends congratulations and best wishes to the
happy couple for long, happy and prosperous lives.
