OBITUARY:   Betsey Olson
Lake Preston Times, March 24, 1893
Died--On Sunday, March 19th, 1893, Mrs. Burdick Olson, aged 32 years.  
Deceased leaves a husband and five small children to fight earth's battles 
alone.  She also leaves her father and mother, who reside in Wisconsin, and 
two brothers, Hon(?) A. N. Dahlen of this place and J. N. Dahlen, of Mt. 
Horeb. Wis.  The latter was telegraphed for but did not arrive until after her 
death.  Funeral services were held Tuesday.  The mourning relatives have the 
sympathy of the entire community in their bereavement.  A loving mother, 
faithful wife and kind neighbor has gone to her reward.
