Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hallenbeck Funeral home. Rev. E. N. Nelson will officiate. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery. Mrs. Phillips was born Jan. 21, 1890 at Madison, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Dixon, early pioneers. She graduated from Central High school and attended General Beadle college. She taught school in Lake County for several years. She married Milton Phillips Nov. 30, 1914 at Sioux Falls. He died March 14, 1942. She is survived by one brother, Merle Dixon, Seattle, Wash.; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Shifflett, Sioux Falls, and Mrs. Mike Mooney, Ramona.
