His wife was Ida Mary Spencer who was born in Waterloo, Iowa. She was the daughter of Franklin Spencer and Eliza Maria DuBois. Ida May was a member of Rainbow Branch Rebekah Lodge 162 in Faith. Ida Mary loved sea shells. I was told that the two on the tombstone are what is left of her collection.
