incorporated city 30 miles s of Murdo on the C. M. & St. P. Ry 
the shipping point. Has a Congregational Church, 2 banks and 2 
hotels. A weekly newspaper the Mellette County News is published. 
Stage daily from Murdo and Winner and tri-weekly from Valentine
