MOUNT VERNON Abraham Lincoln Post No. 106 This post was chartered March 3, 1886, with 17 members. Its charter was destroyed by fire and a new one issued July 6, 1892. The latter charter was surrendered March 3, 1894, at which time there were nine members. The largest membership was 25 in 1886.
