OBITUARY 

Mrs. Julia Gannon died Thursday morning, Nov. 26, at her home in Dell Rapids, 
South Dakota. She was the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Watters of 
Petersville, Iowa, near which place she was born March 11, 1879. She was 
married to John Gannon on October 4, 1904. 

Mrs. Gannon leaves to mourn her loss a loving husband and five little 
children, his parents, five sisters and three brothers, besides a host of 
friends. Her remains were brought back to Delmar and interred in the 
Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Petersville. The funeral was held Sunday 
morning with mass at Deep Creek church, Rev. Father Ryan officiating. The pall 
bearers were six old schoolmates: J. R. O'Meara, P. A. O'Meara, L. Reynolds, 
Wm. Quinlan, Jr., John O'Grady and Matt Costello.
