The remains were brought to Andrew for interment and funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock. Cordelia Dunham, a daughter of James Dunham, late of Fairfield Township, Jackson County, was born in Mercer County, Pennsylvania, a little over fifty-seven years ago. With her parents, she came to Jackson County in 1850 and on August 5, 1860, she became the wife of John Downing of Andrew. She leaves her husband and six children to mourn her loss. She was a woman of excellent character and was loved and respected by all whe knew her.
