65-03-02 to E & A Damrell from Julia Canterbury March the 2 1865 Dear grand Father and Mother I thought I would write you a few lines to let you now that we are all well at present and hope when these few lines may fiend you all the same. there snow on the ground now and has bin for 3 days but it is not very cold so I think it will not stay on much longer. We received your kind leter last eavning. You don't know how glad we was to here from you and to here that you was in common health but sorry to here of Aunt Nancy deth. I have not much to write this time but I will write again soon. You must tell cousin Martha Damrell I want her to write me a long letter for I would be so glad to have a letter from her. excuse bad writing and spelling and I will try and do better the next time. no more at presant but remains your affecttionate grand daughter untill deth.
