My Dear Grand Father & Mother, I take the present opportunity to write you a few lines as Pa is writing. We received your kind letter yesterday & Great was our Joy to finde grand Pa's picture in it. Old & feable as he is now I can still distinguish that same plesant smile I have in day's gone by. But o my Dear Grand Ma we wanted to see your picture so bad. Grand Pa does look so lonely without yours. You must be sure & send it soon. I wrote to Mary Beall some time ago & I have not as yet received an answer. Tell her I think She mite answer it. I have no news of interest to write only we are all well as common. I received a letter from Cousin F. Canterbury day before yesterday, they were all well. Give my love to Aunt Sarah Rouse & Uncle Will & to all of the children. I must bring my letter to a close at this time. nothing more at Present.
