Bless God for His assurance. well Grand Ma Amor had a vary bad spell of sickness and thought a while she would not recover but we feel thankful she is up again. She had no Dr. I attended to her myself. She was confined to her bed about 4 weeks and suffered a great deal. The rest of us are vary healthy & stout. I worked out 21 days Since we came here. I got three Dollars per day cash and have some more work to do for the same man. I was building a house for him. When it payd best I build houses & when it don't I make wagons. Well have got stratened up Since we moved, got our winters wood, Lots of straw stacked, and hay and Barley bought & about 1200 pounds flower and a half Barrel of sugar and so we are Ready for the rain but we have had none yet. We have 45 acres of wheat sowed, 15 or 20 Acres more is all I expect to sow this year, business is prospering here and money plenty, no trouble to raise a few hundred Dollars here. all kinds of stock here is high but Horses. Eggs is 40 cents per Dozen, Hens six Dollars. Turkeys 8 cents per pound live weight. There are Families here that raise from 200 to 1000 Turkeys per year. whatever is done here must be done on a Large scale and near RailRoad. speed as possible we had a Letter not Long since they ware well, John Norton & Family an well and doing well. John will have in over 200 acres this year in wheat. Bud is stout and hearty. He is one inch taller then I am. Now Grandma, my Little sheet is full and so must quit, I will not send for Susan Cason.
