Dear Sister,    I seat myself with pen in hand to drop you a few lines to Let 
you no that we are All as well as Common and I hope when you get these few 
lines they may find you in good health.  I received your kind and welcome 
Letter which I was glad to see and read though I was sorry to hear of your 
bereavement that you are Left to mourn the Loss of a departed husband which 
was your Comfort in Life.  You wanted to no whether I got your picture.  I 
never got it.  Brother James was over to see me A Short time Ago.  his folks 
was all well.  I send him your Letter to read.  you may soon Look for A Letter 
from him.  his Post office Adress is Gronton Lawrence County Ohio  there is 
one other place that is Sheriden Coal works the sam County direct to Either of 
them two places and he will be Shure to get it.  your Letter you wanted to no 
where Mary Hatten was.  She has got into Texas Last fall in November the 16.  
She has had 13 Children. 6 dead She had twins Both died.  if you want to wite 
to Mary Hatten her post office address Williamston County Bagdad Post Office 
Texas.  They say they are doing will they have got land.  they had thair 
houses built and ready to go to farming.  Eliza is doing very well.  They own 
land.  She has nine children.  Seven living two dead.  Ruhammah is doing well 
they own a good farm has a nice orchard and has nine children, one dead one 
maried and has two little girls.  Martha has a farm is doing very well.  She 
has four children, two girls and two boys.  Francis has a good farm and 
orchard they have three children living and one dead.  Stephen is verry mutch 
crippled up.  his feet and ankles are deformed So he can hardly walk About.  
we have A fine Church house to be dedicated to the Service of the Lord on the 
5 Sunday in May 1874.  you can come to our meeting on that day.  All the 
Preachers are invited to particapate in the meeting.  I dont no of Any thing 
further that would interest you Any further only Brother Wm wife is dead.  She 
died Last fall.  her son lives in Texas somwhere  rich  right soon.  I will
