Pa is as well as common. He is not at home. We are quite lonely. grandMa I herded 72 Sheep for Mr. Braden Green. Braden you know him. I herded 8 days und got 3 dollars. I must stop und go to watter my pony. now Sarah and I have got back from feeding. Pa is going to kill 8 hogs the middle of next month. We will have one old sow left and 11 pigs. Ma is going to write and She will tell you the rest. Ma shows me your picture lots of times. Grandpa we all feel pretty well this frosty Sabbath morning. It is very uncomfortable to live by a Stove. it has been cold and foggy for to or three days or a week. it is so lonly out here. I have a great many Uncles and Aunts and cousins that I think might wright to us as we can not see them. I think that they might afford to wright once a month any way. Grandpa I dont know whether you can read this or not. You must must on your specks and look close for this is from your little grand daugher a 11 year old. Grandpa have you eny of your pictures or eny of the families if you have I want you to please send it to me if you have it to share we would like to see them so well. We are sorrow to here of grandmas Eyes a being so bad but I hope and trust they will get well. Grandpa you must hang up your stocking.
