Darling Grand Ma,            
You are very near and dear to me and dont think I have forgotten you because I 
have been silent so long.  I just recd a letter from Brother Wesley.  he 
stated you was well as usual.  O how glad I would be to see you, may god bless 
us that we may meet if not in this world let it be in the next.  If I had the 
means I would go back and see you all.  it would be more Joy in my Heart then 
I can express.  times has changed everything so much.  It wouldn't seem like 
Home anymore.  Grand Ma I hardly know what to say to interest you.  We have 
got us a little home.  It is rather a poor one but Home is sweet if it is ever 
so Poor.  Emmet is a good sturdy Boy.  I am thankful.   he gets discouraged, 
hardly knows how to manage.  When a person hasnt much to do with it aint many 
but what will get discouraged, we are in a spendid Neighborhood.  We have  
Preaching regular.  Prayer meeting  Twice a week.  we will have a school here 
this summer and Sabbath school also.  
It looks so good to see tham all turn out and go to Church and Sabbath School. 
 People are still comeing in the country.  they are to work on the Railroad.  
not a great ways ?pamhese some thinks it will be an advantage and some thinks 
not.  Brother Bens lives about 14 miles from here on a main travailed Road.  
There is a good deal of travel.  Francis has a good ?cal to do  Laura is an 
exception of a good girl, every body likes her.  Grand Ma you will Pardon me 
for not writing to you often.  You know I have many cares on my mind.  I think 
sometimes I cant see my way out.  I take new courage every once in a while or 
I would get back in the Dark so far I could not find my way out. Grand Ma I 
disere your Prayers for us all.  we all send our best reguards to all and 
receive a larger share for your self.  Answer soon.  if you can't  write tell 
some of my Aunts or Uncles cousins, or any that is my Friends to write and 
give us all the News.  Your true Grand Daughter until Death.
