Dear Grand Ma and all          
I seat my self to writ to you an let you know how we are geting a long.  We 
are tolerable well but pa is not feeling very well.  he is feeble this winter. 
 we hop this may find you all well.  Well Grandma I hope this will find you 
well grandma have you heard of my trouble it seams lik that it is hard grand 
ma for me to bare to have such a smart brit baby given to me and snached away 
so soon.  it was five weeks old when it died.  it was a Boy it name was 
Thomas.  Thomas it had the memhern croup an dipthera.  O grand ma you never 
saw any little darling sufer so it makes my blood run to think of it.  it has 
gon home well grand i would like to see you. ma saiz she is going to see you 
as soon as she can.  pa said if it is so he can he will come soon.  we have 
not heard from you since pa was there.  it seem like we are tied the snow is 
so deep well grand ma i will tel you it seem like it is a little  little 
flower that has Blosimed and now has dead, a brit little Blosom.  he was he 
was born the 22 of September and died January 27  grand ma I would like to see 
you and Aunt Thenia an al it seems like that  i can not rit like i can tel you 
of al if could com over their an see you Sany an Martha and family's is well

 the preacher is a laday preacher.  ma went to hear her yesterday.  ma said 
she don splended.  Eddy is going to town to morrow well grand ma I will close 
this few lines hoping to hear from you al som.  Ma says she does  want to see 
you so bad.  you must writ soon as you get this.   no more so good by from
