I would have written before but Mary has been feeling so bad that I did not really have time but I think she is getting along nicely now since her neck has been running. when we got back from up there she was sick in bed with the chills and was very weak. I got a letter from Ellen about two weeks ago. They was all well and hearty. she said the baby weighed 21 lbs and Ray 42 lbs wouldn't you like to see her and the children? Is John L--staying with Ma now? Is Titia at home yet? has Rosa been at home since I was up there? Is Josie staying with Fannie now? and does Fannie and her baby keep well? Ida you must excuse so many questions for you know Just how I am I want to know about you all. Is Sherman as smart as he was when I was up there? I think he is the best singer for a boy of his age that I ever heard sing. bless his little heart I wish I could see him. When did you see grandma? Is she well? and how is Mary Q and Marthy M are they well and how is Libs leg by this time. I will not ask any more questions personaly. but how is eveyone in general. tell Tihia that letter she wrote is Smith Titus. erected quite a sensation.
