We all neglect to write to you when you would like to hear from some of us once a week or once a month any way. The thief of time rushes by so fast and of course we neglect to write. We are all well as usual and hope theas few lines may find you all well. Was sorrow to hear of the death of Beall. Boynton she was a nice girl. that is something we all live for death is something we cant get round that is shure. and you are as apt to live as long as any of your children. We are haveing lots of rain down here. the _______fork has been full for a week and sometimes out of the banks. the Corn crop is looking bade on the acount of bade seed. some have planted the third time. We had to the second time we have a tolerable stand considering the wet weather. I got a letter from Jake Rouse not long go. he wrote lik he would come down and help me harvest this year. Ross is working for me this summer. he is a good Boy to work. Olive is at Mr. Whittaker she is well and harty. George Nagels folks was the last wherd from them Mary has been sick she is up and a round again. she has the scrofalo in her neck and has ever since she was at Greencastle. Mary looks bade now. her neck is running some now and then. I havent herg from W. T for some time they was all well the last letter I got from them. I am looking got a letter from some of them ever day. Well Granma I will for the present write when you can and feel like it.
