There are several field stones, but no identifiable markers, except for a field stone, marked Milley E. Massengill?. There are two foot-stones, bearing the initials, E. R. and S. R. It is assumed they are for Ezekiel and Sarah Rutherford. The lower portion of a broken tombstone was found approx. 200 feet from the cememtery, beside of the road, making it appear that this cememtery has been vandalized. This cememtery has also been known as the "Rutherford" Cemetery. The Rutherford The Rutherford familly owned the property during the Civil War. Lovicy? Rutherford, sister to Mark Rutherford who was active in Andersonville Bapt. Ch. and Andersonville Institute, inherited the farm, but dedded it to one of the Wallaces for taking care of her.
