Coal Miner, 55, Dies Suddenly In North Lake City


	A 55-year-old coal miner, Everett Vowell, died suddenly Tuesday 
afternoon at his home in North Lake City.
	Mr. Vowell is survived by his wife, Edith Harness Vowell; three sons, 
Everett Vowell Jr. of Hamilton, Ohio, Ronald Neal Vowell, who is in the air 
force in Lake Charles, La., and James C. Vowell of Lake City; four 
grandchildren; three sisters, mrs. Goldie Bradshaw of LaFollette, Mrs. 
Beatrice Fraker of Clinton and Mrs. Ruth Burton of Briceville; half-brother, 
Jesse Vowell of Briceville.
	Funeral Services will be held for Mr. Vowell on Friday at 2 p. m. at 
Martin Funeral Chapel in Lake City, with the Rev. Onzie Duggar officiating.  
Burial will be in Leach Cemetery.
	The family will receive friends tonight (Thursday) at the funeral home 
from 7 p. m. until 9 p. m.
