JESSE H. VOWELL
Member of Briceville church

	Jesse H. Vowell, 82, of Briceville, died at his home Monday after an 
extended period of ill health.
	He was a member of First Baptist Church of Briceville and of the 
Knights of Pythias, and was a retired coal miner.  He had been an avid flower 
gardener.
	Mr. Vowell is survived by his wife, Winnie Ayers Vowell; three 
sisters, Mrs. Ruth Burton of Briceville, Mrs. Claude (Beatrice) Fraker of 
Clinton, and Mrs. John (Golda) Bradshaw of Atlanta, Ga.
	The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Martin 
Funeral Home of Lake City, with Rev. Andrew L. Henry officiating.  Burial will 
be in Sunset Cemetery of Clinton.
	The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral 
home.
