daughter of Alfred Reed who was the son of Robert Reed (born 1796 KY died 1864 
Bedford County, Tn) and Elizabeth Reed.  Alfred was born in Bedford County, Tn 
along with his children who are listed here.  His wife was Nancy Broadway.

Alfred Reed was born A.D. March 11,1822
Benjamin F. Reed was born the year of our lord September 28th 1842
John Wesley Reed born July 1st,1844 Robert Reed was born December 24th,1846
James A. Reed born January 30th 1847
Mary E. Reed was born July 18th,1851
William Henry Reed was born in the year of our lord July 6th 1851
Our Lizzeybeth Reed was born September 21st,1879
