Witnesseth, that the said William Allison for and inconsideration of the Sum Two thousand Two hundred dollars to him in hand Paid the receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged, Hath Granted Bargained Sold Alleened[sic] Conveyed And Confirmed unto the said William Sharp his heirs and assigns forever a Certain Tract or Parcel of Land Situate in The County of Bedford aforesaid And on the Waters of the Garison[sic] fork of Duck River, Being a part of a 1364 Acre Tract Granted to Norton Pryor. Beginning on Two dogwoods ten poles South of the branch that runs through Morton Jones' Plantation thence West One Hundred and forty seven poles to Two Beeches Thence North three hundred and Eleven Poles to Two Sugar trees in the northern boundary of said 1364 Acre Thence East to the Corner Marker for Grant No. 217 by John Drake and with the [sd, (said)?] To the Beginning containing Two hundred & Eighty five and a half Acres. To Have and To Hold the before described Tract of Land with all the rights Profits imoluments[sic] hereditaments[sic] And appurtenances to to the sd Tract or Parcel of Land hereby conveyed belonging or in any wise[sic] appertaining to the only Proper use and Benefit of the said William Sharp his heirs & Assigns forever and the said William Allison for himself his heirs Executors administrators Assigns doth covenant & agree to and With The said Sharp him & his assigns that the Before recited Land and Bargained Premises. He will Warrant and forever defend against The right Title Interest or Claim of all and Every person or Manner of Persons Whatsoever. In Witness whereof the said William Allison has hereunto set his hand & affixed his Seal the day and year above Written which is in full Compliance of & with & Obligation given for conveyance to the above described Land dated third day of June 1818 - Signed Sealed & Delivered In presents[sic] of in W.
